"They" have no idea how far she'll go.
With his freight-train vocals, dark intensity and brooding good looks, Anthony is well aware he presents a challenge to the brazen columnist from Stripped Magazine. Yet she intrigues him more than he cares to admit. Beneath her soft, girl-next-door facade, she drips with the kind of sensuality that makes him edgy. High. And completely stupid.
Stupid enough to let her get into the act... and under his skin.

An Interview with Lexi Adair
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
HH: Lexi, thank you for talking with us at TRS BLUE. Please tell us about your featured book, Rock Star.
LA: Thank you so much for having me! ROCKSTAR is my first release (now available from Samhain Publishing). It is the first of the music themed books I am creating for Samhain. ROCKSTAR is a modern day fairy tale featuring the brooding musician Anthony Phoenix and the brazen journalist Summer Strait.
Incredibly tight-lipped and painfully private, Anthony Phoenix has been known to make lesser women cry. Luckily, Summer Staite is by no means a lesser woman. It's her job to know his type -- rich, handsome, famous and used to getting what he wants. A dangerous, seductive combination. Luckily for her it's not the man she's after. It's his story. A story that'll earn her the respect she craves -- one they tell her is impossible to get.
"They" have no idea how far she'll go.

HH: A brooding rock star and an ambitious reporter. Where did you get the idea for this sizzling story? LA: Actually this story stems mostly from my own personal fantasy. I've always had a thing for musicians and ROCKSTAR is that fantasy on paper. ;)
HH: What you like best about Anthony Phoenix? LA: Oh there are so many things I like about Anthony. It's hard to narrow it down to just one. I think the thing I like the most about him is that underneath the celebrity facade, he's just a guy looking for love -- mostly in all the wrong places. LOL.
HH: What, if any, research did you do to bring this story so convincingly to life? LA: I actually spent quite a bit of time reading and watching celebrity interviews. I tried to pay special attention to the tone, voice and mannerisms so that I could capture that "rockstar" persona that comes out in Anthony when he's in his "rockstar" M.O.
HH: How did you get your start as a writer, Lexi? LA: I was very fortunate to have the best editor in the world. When I first subbed to Samhain, ROCKSTAR still needed a bit of tweaking and I was so lucky to have such a wonderful, patient editor to help me through the process to make ROCKSTAR the wonderful story it is today.
HH: How did you learn you made the first sale? LA: My editor called me and surprised me with the news that she was interested in publishing ROCKSTAR. Needless to say, that was a great day. =)
HH: How have things changed for you since then? LA: Oh boy, things have actually changed quiet a bit since then. I have a wonderful, supportive reader base and a very active blog with one of my best friends. I've also been writing so much more lately because of all the wonderful love and support from my readers, friends and family.
HH: What can you tell us about your blog with author Ann Wayne? LA: Oh yes, the Naked Truth? it's not a blog for the faint of heart, I'll tell you that. LOL. Ann and I are very honest on our blog and no subject is taboo. We talk openly about the ups and downs of writing, sex, romance and life. Over the last few months it's also developed into a community of sorts because we have a lot of readers who stop by to share their thoughts about the topics we discuss. Of course Ann and I are thrilled because we love to talk -- just ask our husbands who also happen to be best friends too. The Naked Truth is a forum where you can be completely honest about who you are and what you think. We laugh together, cry together, share the ups and downs of life, celebrate successes and mourn losses. In short, we're a family.
HH: Are you attending any conferences or other events this year? LA: Unfortunately I won't be able to attend to any conferences this year. But I'm on my blog every day, does that count? LOL
HH: What do you have coming up for lucky readers? LA: I have so many things in the work, it's so exciting.
Let's see my next book CALLAGHAN GIRL is the second in a line of music-themed books currently under consideration with Samhain Publishing. Another rocker fantasy, it features Irish musician Lucas Callaghan and the clumsy but cute Julia Vaughn who makes him question the price he?ll pay for fame.
I also have a fantasy-romance series called The Wishmaker Stories featuring an ultra sexy male genie that is currently under consideration with Liquid Silver Books. AS YOU WISH is the first story in this series of magical escapades that will send Laurel spiraling down a path of mayhem and leads her on the greatest romantic adventure of her life with the stunning Dijin Ashan.
Also on the list is a series of short stories co-written with Ann Wayne called Naked Truth Pocket Stories. These short stories are released exclusively from our website with the first set of ebooks featuring OVER THE LINE, BETWEEN STRANGERS and BELLE NOTTE among others. The Pocket Stories will be released frequently with a goal of several titles per month. To find out more about the Pocket Stories readers can visit our blog at http://nakedtruthauthors.wordpress.com or visit the shop at ShopNakedTruth.com.
For more about my books readers can visit my website at http://www.lexiadair.com.
I'd like to take a moment to thank all my wonderful readers, friends and family for their continued support. And a special thank you to the staff at TRS for making such a wonderful haven for lovers of romance.
HH: Thank you!
