In the midst of the turmoil and trauma, passion unexpectedly flares anew between Steve and the woman he loves. Suddenly the future he’d believed lost lies within his reach. But she still carries the secret that once tore them apart, and determined to protect Steve from the truth, she fights their rekindled relationship every step of the way.
Now the fragile bond they’ve developed hangs in the balance, threatened by a reality that love may not be strong enough to overcome…
Warning: This book might just make you cry, but it’ll make you smile as well. The story will probably get you all hot and bothered too. It contains naughty activities in the car, sex on the kitchen counter (and up against the wall), a quickie in the garden, a little experimenting with scarves—oh, and some hot loving in the bedroom.

Only Tyler
Love... or friendship? Does she really have to choose?
Circle of Friends, Book 1
Katelyn Rosewood is facing a moral dilemma, one that’s six-foot-two, sexy as sin—and her fiancé’s best friend. Katie spent a lot of time getting over Tyler Bonnard, but now that he’s back in Sydney, he’s turning her carefully reconstructed world upside down.
Her relationship with Steve Sommers may be short on heat and desire, but after Tyler left her two years before, she’ll take security and solid friendship over wild passion any day. Except Tyler seems to have a good—if outrageous—explanation for why he’s returned.
After a tragic family secret tore him out of Katie’s life, Tyler is glad to be back with his two best friends. But one thing is out of place: Katie’s in the wrong man’s arms. And if her reaction to his return is any indication, she’s not quite over him. Which could mean hope for Tyler, heartbreak for Steve…
And another devastating loss for Katie, who must choose between the man to whom she’s committed her future, and the man who still holds her heart.
Warning: Keep a tissue or two handy while reading this book. While it does contain a few steamy love scenes, the rest of the story might just make you cry.
An Interview with Jess Dee
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
HH: Jess, thank you for talking with us at TRS BLUE. Please tell us about your featured book, Steve's Story.JD: Hi Holly. Thanks for having me over to The Romance Studio.
Steve's Story is the second book in the Circle of Friends series, revolving around three friends: Steve, Katie and Tyler. It's a contemporary, erotic, romance, and it is pretty hot.
When love is threatened by the truth, every moment counts...
In this book, Steve Sommer's is faced with a dilemma. His closest friend has been critically injured in a motorcycle accident. With him at the friend's bedside are two women: Steve's ex-fianceé and his ex-girlfriend. Amidst the trauma and the hope of his friend's recovery, Steve's finds himself falling in love again with one of the women. The problem is, she left him before. Can they now resolve their past problems to make way for a happy future together?
Steve's Story releases at Samhain Publishing on the 28th of April. You can find out more info at:

HH: What can you tell us about the first story in the series, Only Tyler JD: Love...or friendship? Does she really have to choose?
Only Tyler is a classic love triangle between three best friends, that'll make you cry and laugh. Steve and Katie are engaged, but Katie is also in love with Tyler. Katie is forced to choose between her two closest friends, a decision that could destroy the bonds that hold them all together.
This book is also an erotic contemporary romance, and is available now from Samhain Publishing:

HH: Where did you get the idea for the Circle of Friends series for a start? JD: For the longest time I had this question in my mind: "What would happen if a woman was in love with her fiancé's best friend?" I struggled to find a way to see a happy ending for all three characters. But I was hell bent on finding one. I couldn't leave the idea alone. That's when I started writing Only Tyler. Unfortunately the happy ending in the first book only applied to two of the characters. Which meant I had to write another book to give Steve his happy ending as well.
HH: How does Steve's Story continue your series? JD: Steve's Story takes place in the aftermath of Katie's decision. Katie has chosen her man, now Steve needs to find his happy ending as well.
HH: What can you tell us about the stories to come in this series? JD: This is it. It's a two book series.
HH: What do you like best about Steve?
JD: Ah, Steve. What can I say? Besides from the fact that he's a sexy, blonde haired, blued eyed doctor who loves surfing, Steve is a real sweetheart. I love everything about him. He's a fun, happy guy who's been given a raw deal in the romance department. He may have been dumped by two women he's loved, but he's strong enough to put his pain behind him to help those same woman through an impossibly hard time.
Steve's the kinda guy you'd proudly take home to meet mum - and show off to all your girlfriends.
HH: How did you get your start as a writer, Jess?
JD: I've always loved romance, and decided one day to try my hand at writing a love story. It sucked.
,p>
A few years later I completed a course in romance writing, and I discovered the wonderful world of erotic romance. Photo Opportunity was born. A few months after it was completed, I sold it to a publisher that has now closed it's doors.
HH: How have things changed since then? JD: Fortunately, Photo Op, and it's sequel, Ask Adam, found a home at Samhain Publishing, along with three of my other books: The Circle of Friends Series and A Question of Trust (from the Menage and More Anthology.) I also have a novella called Visiting Paradise in the Boys Down Under Anthology at Aspen Mountain Press.
More than that, Photo Opportunity and Ask Adam are now available in print format, which is a dream come true for me.
HH: What goals have you set for yourself at this point in your career? JD: I find as soon as I set goals, I fail. I'll be happy at this point to just continue writing when my heart tells me too. At the moment I'm working on the sequel to A Question of Trust. (Yep, I'm a sucker for sequels. I like all my characters to get their happy endings.) I'm also playing around with an all new series that's struck my fancy. (But I haven't gotten terribly far with this yet.)
HH: Will you be attending any conventions, conferences, or other events this year? JD: I recently attended the Australian Romance Readers Conference in Melbourne, which was wonderful. Unfortunately I won't be able to get to any more this year. (Although loads of my writer, reader and reviewer friends are going to Lori Foster's and RT soon, and I wiiiiish I could join them.)
HH: Thank you!-->
