In high school, Lily was too shy to do anything about her feelings for her best friends, Justin and Killian. Now she's ready to put to rest her regrets with a proposal that might shock even her oversexed friends—the three of them, together, one night, multiplee positions.

K and J are more than a little surprised to see Lily at their ten-year reunion. The plain Jane they remember is now a stunning woman—who wants to have sex with both of them. Who are they to deny her? Even if Killian suspects they might be treading on dangerous emotional territory.

The night stretches into the weekend and, as K suspected, none of them want it to end. But he and Lily know people live in pairs, not trios, and they call a halt now, before it's too late.

Justin, however, knows a good thing when he sees it. He's ready to fight for what he wants…what they all need. He just has to convincee Lilly and Killian that unconventional can also be extraordinary.

Reviews for Sweet Thursday

"It is easy to see why Lily has been in love with K and Justin for all of these years. Separately they are very hot, but together they are irresistible. Justin says exactly what he thinks and Killian is a sensitive and protective type. They complement each other perfectly. Lily is a bit of an innocent but knows exactly what she wants and soon gets the courage to try to keep it. She has to overcome the disapproval of her younger brother. I love Killian's family. The members have been the subject of some excellent stories in this series. They are warm, loving, funny, and pretty non judgmental. I particularly look forward to Riley's story. She has always been one of my favorite siblings. Lily, Killian, and Justin's story was very enjoyable and the love scenes were truly scorching." - 4 1/2 Hearts, Maura Frankman, The Romance Studio

An Interview with Mari Carr
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio

HH: Mari, thank you for talking with us at TRS BLUE! Please tell us about your featured book, Sweet Thursday.

MC: Sweet Thursday is the fourth book in my Wild Irish series, now available at Ellora's Cave. The stories revolve around a family of seven siblings, who work together in the family's business in Baltimore, Maryland. Each book features one of the Collins' clan as they meet and fall in love. Come Monday, Ruby Tuesday, and Waiting for Wednesday are already released and book five, Friday I'm in Love, will release later this summer. Sweet Thursday features Killian Collins.

HH: Your heroine is makes a daring proposition to the two guys she liked in high school at their ten year reunion. A totally different type of reunion story. Where did you get the idea for this sizzling tale?

MC: Actually, when I started working on the book, my cousin was planning her fifteenth year class reunion. We started talking about old friends from high school, those we were sorry we'd let slip away and those we were sort of glad about losing! LOL. Our conversation stuck and I started thinking about old friends, regrets, and how much we change as we move along our adult years. In high school, Lily, the heroine, had been painfully shy and in love with both of her best friends. She never told them how she felt and for ten years, that regret festered. With the class reunion, she sees a way to 'turn back the clock' so to speak and take the risk she'd been too afraid to take in school.

HH: What do you like best about Killian and Justin and do they stand a chance?

MC: I like that these two are truly best friends, closer than brothers. I like friendship stories and I love friends-to-lovers tales. This one certainly had a twist because there were two heroes! I think they were a nice complement to each other. Justin is sort of the devil may care, wild child, while Killian is the staid, reliable, gentle and caring friend. Put together they make the perfect man!

HH: What do you like best about Lily and how do you relate to her?

MC: Oh, most of my heroines carry a little bit of me inside them. I was terribly shy in high school, a fact folks who know me now cannot believe. I'm sure there were boys in my past I was sorry I wasn't able to talk to. I also like the idea of second chances. Lily was able to grasp her chance to rewrite the past. That's a cool concept.

HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?

MC: Oh my, I have few stories already on the calendar for release for the remainder of this year. As I said, Friday I'm in Love will come out later this summer and I have a new book, Happy Hour, scheduled for an October release at Samhain. It's another in the Black & White Collection of wicked fantasies. I just got a rough draft of the cover and it is HAWT! Can't wait to be able to share it.

As for what I'm writing, I hope to finish several things this summer, including Any Given Sunday (the final Wild Irish book) and True Colors (another B&W story). And I'm very excited to announce I will be working on books one and two in the Compass Brothers series, a set of four books I will be co-writing with Jayne Rylon. They've been contracted by Samhain and should begin hitting the shelves in 2011.

HH: What do you think today's readers are looking for and how do you fill that demand in your writing?

MC: I listen closely to what my readers say and I do try to mold my writing accordingly. I had the pleasure of attending the Romantic Times convention in April and, while there, I attended a session where several women expressed an interest in reading about older heroines. As a result, I came home and wrote a novella called Do Over. It's about a couple as they celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary and I think it's one of the hottest, most romantic stories I've ever written. It's been offered a contract, but I can't say where just yet. Let me just say, I'm still doing flip-flops over it's acceptance! Mostly, though, I just try to write from my heart.

HH: What are you most proud of in your writing career?

MC: Wow! What a tough question. Truthfully, I'm still surprised to be here! I think I'm especially proud of the books I've written lately. I wouldn't be much of an author if I didn't grow and improve. I've always been my own worst critic, but lately, I've noticed when I write the words "The End" there's suddenly a sense of accomplishment. I'm very proud of the Wild Irish series. I love the books and the characters--everything about them. And Do Over is another book I'm really excited about. It was a beautiful story and it made me cry several times. Odd, when you think I'm the one writing it, but those characters really touched my heart and I hope readers will feel the same.

HH: What makes it all worth it to you as an author?

MC: Seriously? All of it. Every single aspect of this career is the best. I'm living my dream and not a day goes by, that I don't realize how truly blessed I am.

HH: Do you read print books, ebooks, or both?

MC: Both. For romance, I tend to buy ebooks, but I am a high school librarian by day, so I get my YA fixes in print.

HH: Any big plans for the summer?

MC: Relaxing! As I said, I'm a public eduator and summer is MY time. I'm doing a week at the beach, cleaning my house, entertaining family and friends for a few weeks and writing like there's no tomorrow! Hope to have three books under my belt before the school year resumes in late August.

HH: Thank you!
