Reviews for Her Three Protectors
"Great story! Excellent BDSM scenes, not as hard core but still arousing! I couldn't put it down!"
"I really enjoyed this book and the series, so far. Porcha is one fiesty lady and gives as good as she gets. It took Troy, Adam and Beck a fair while to realise how together Porcha is and that she is able to look after herself. Their D/s scenes were hot and somewhat different to many of the other like books I have read. Recommend."
"Hot and Entertaining!"

An Interview with Zara Chase
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
HH: Thank you for talking with us at TRS. Your featured book is Her Three Protectors and part of your Hot Millionaires series. First where did you get the idea for this sizzling series?
ZC: In a word, escapism. As a reader, I rely on books to take me away from the daily grind. Hopefully I’m not alone in enjoying the glamorous environment inhabited by wealthy, Dominant males, albeit vicariously!
HH: What can you tell us about the first two books in the series?
ZC: As a Brit myself, I’ve made all of my heroines English, pitting them against tough, uncompromising, hunky American heroes. Crossing swords with my feisty English ladies is a challenge that turns them on and brings out their protective instincts in spades.
I split my time between Europe and Florida, which helps me to write from the American perceptive. Believe me, whoever said England and America are two countries divided by a common language was right on the money! I set the first book in Florida and the second in England, writing from first-hand experience of both locations. Just to add variety, number four is set in Spain.
HH: How does Her Three Protectors continue it?
ZC: Her Three Protectors finds us back in Florida -- on both coasts -- as the heroes race against time to try and stop Porcha getting killed.
HH: What do you like best about Porcha and why do you think readers will relate to her?
ZC: Porcha has made some silly mistakes in her life, which makes her like the majority of women, I’m guessing! She was overwhelmed by Sal’s charm campaign and married him against her better judgement. Now he’s dead and although she knew absolutely nothing about his business activities, someone thinks she possesses vital information and will stop at nothing to extract it from her. Porcha, out of her depth and terrified, never once thinks about backing down and I really admire her courage.
HH: What do you like best about Troy , Adam and Beck and why will readers love them?
ZC: What’s not to love? Three hunks who work out every day and have the six-packs to prove it. A cross between body guards and vigilantes, the moment they set eyes on Porcha they are determined to fix her problems. What girl wouldn’t go all weak at the knees to have all that testosterone-fuelled Dominance 24/7?
HH: What challenge is there in writing a relationship with more than two people?
ZC: Making it seem realistic and not contrived is definitely a challenge. I also try not to be repetitive. Because there’s always going to be at least one ménage scene in every book, I trawl certain website to find alternative…er, methods of getting them there. Some of the toys I’ve found along the way are quite innovative!
HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?
ZC: Her Mile High Mates has just been released by SirenBookStrand. This one’s set in Spain and I think you can probably guess from the title what happens in the heroes’ light aircraft! My husband used to fly so I didn’t have to do too much research, but I’m not going to tell you if I’m referring to the technicalities of flying or to having sex a mile above the ground!
HH: What goals have you set for yourself at this point in your career?
ZC: I’m really happy with the way my ménage series has been received so far. I want to build on that and become a name to be reckoned with in the genre. I also write historical romance under my own name. It’s my first love and I want to continue building on the ten titles I already have out there. It’s a great discipline for me, writing very different genres for publishers who have diverse requirements.
HH: What do you enjoy reading?
ZC: I enjoy thrillers and good romantic suspense. I can’t remember a time in my life when I haven’t been an avid reader and when I’m not writing, I have a three-book-a-week habit to feed. Thank goodness for the convenience of e-books!
HH: What are you most looking forward to before the year's end?
ZC: I would love to see one of my titles hit number one on the SirenBookStrand best seller list, even if it was only for a day! That would really make me feel I was giving pleasure to my readers. There’s no greater reward for a writer than that.
HH: Thank you!
