Cara Convington

Rebecca Jessop has been in love with Greg Benedict since she understood what love was. Their one encounter nine years before ended badly when Greg had to leave unexpectedly. Rebecca tried to deny her heart, but over time she came to realize that she couldn’t stop loving Greg. Finally, she made the decision that she had to try to reach for her happy-ever-after.

Greg Benedict had been in love with Rebecca for a long time, but doubted she would look at him for the long haul. Bisexual, and an adventurer at heart, Greg traveled the globe looking for the destiny meant to be his. He’d met and fallen in love with Daniel Montrose, but a fight with his lover found him coming back to Lusty for Christmas and an unforgettable encounter with Rebecca. Then tragedy struck and Greg, guilt-ridden and ashamed, rushed back to Indonesia to try and find his lover.

Now, all these years later, he’s returning to Lusty to help his current lover, Cody Harper, heal from a traumatic injury. Believing the family’s vacation cabin deserted, he doesn’t expect to encounter the one woman he’s never stopped loving. But he does, and although he didn’t ever expect to have this second chance handed to him, or even the chance to live his dream of a true ménage family, he decides he can’t let history repeat itself -- and he can’t let this chance slip through his fingers.

Order it today from Siren-Bookstrand!

Cody doesn’t want to admit that he’s got a problem, and he’s not the only on with secrets, either. Rebecca left Seattle to escape a stalker -- but the stalker is headed her way.

Three people drawn to each other, will they be able to mend broken bridges, heal damaged hearts, and build their forever family?

About Cara Covington

Morgan Ashbury also writing as Cara Covington.

Morgan has been a writer since she was first able to pick up a pen. In the beginning it was a hobby, a way to create a world of her own, and who could resist the allure of that? Then as she grew and matured, life got in the way, as life often does. She got married and had three children, and worked in the field of accounting, for that was the practical thing to do and the children did need to be fed. And all the time she was being practical, she would squirrel herself away on quiet Sunday afternoons, and write.

Most children are raised knowing the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule. Morgan’s children also learned the Paper Rule: thou shalt not throw out any paper that has thy mother’s words upon it.

Believing in tradition, Morgan ensured that her children’s children learned this rule, too.

Life threw Morgan a curve when, in 2002, she underwent emergency triple by-pass surgery. Second chances are to be cherished, and with the encouragement and support of her husband, Morgan decided to use hers to do what she’d always dreamed of doing: writing full time.

Morgan has always loved writing romance. It is the one genre that can incorporate every other genre within its pulsating heart. Romance showcases all that human kind can aspire to be. And, she admits, she’s a sucker for a happy ending.

Morgan’s favorite hobbies are reading, cooking, and traveling -- though she would rather you didn’t mention that last one to her husband. She has too much fun teasing him about having become a “Traveling Fool” of late.

Morgan lives in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, with a mysterious cat, a new Morkie puppy who thinks he’s a German Shepherd, and her husband of forty years, David.

Morgan Ashbuy, also writing as Cara Covington, is a Siren-Bookstrand exclusive author. Love Under Two Adventurers will be her 32nd book for Siren!

An Interview with Cara Covington
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio

HH: Morgan, thank you for talking with us at TRS! Your featured book is Love Under Two Adventurers and is part of your fabulous series. What can you tell us about the series and where you got the idea for it?

MA: I was writing the second of two historical erotic romances for a new Siren Imprint, "The Lost Collection". (Love Under Two Gunslingers and Love Under Two Lawmen) Unfortunately the imprint wasn't proving popular so my publisher said she was going to discontinue it. We were talking about what might appeal to readers and she told me that "small town romance" seemed to be sparking interest. And I thought...what if I wrote a contemporary series about a small town whose people were the descendants of the characters in the two historical novels I'd just written? She said, "I like it" and so the Lusty, Texas series was born.

HH: What can you tell us about the first books and how they kicked off the series?

MA: The first book in the contemporary series set up the town, and introduced one of the families from the first historical book - the Benedicts. The main families are the Benedicts, the Kendalls and the Jessops. Lusty Texas is a town where the ménage relationship dynamic is not only welcomed, it's family tradition! Love Under Two Benedicts tells the story of Kelsey Madison, a young widowed woman who, five years before the story opened, lost her husband and young son in a convenience store shooting. She comes to Lusty, and two brothers, Matthew and Steven Benedict, fall for her. They know they have to work at winning Kelsey's heart, but of course they believe she is worth it.In this first story we also encounter a woman I thought was going to be a one time minor character--Ginny Rose. But it was really Ginny who won reader's hearts, as they sent me so many letters asking for her "happy ending". That took place in Love Under Two Kendalls, book 7 of the series.

HH: How does this story continue it?

MA: Love Under Two Adventurers is the story of Rebecca Jessop, Greg Benedict and Cody Harper. It is the second bisexual ménage in the contemporary series. As in all of the books, while each is a stand alone, the people of Lusty are there, to lend their support and sometimes their comedic quips. This truly is a family oriented town, and a family oriented series--celebrating the love of a multi-generational family. We've met Greg Benedict and Rebecca Jessop in previous stories. Cody is the newcomer. Lusty is very good at welcoming newcomers.

HH: What do you like best about Rebecca and why will readers be cheering for her?

MA: I like her because she is a woman who is honest about herself, and who challenges herself to go for what she's always wanted in life: Greg Benedict. Knowing the man she loves is bisexual, she knows if she wants him she will have to also find room in her heart for the man he loves. She's a woman of strength who loves with her whole heart - or to paraphrase her, "love is not just a noun, it's a verb, too."

HH: What do you like best about Greg and Cody and why will readers love them?

MA: Greg has had a tragic past of his own, which readers learn about in the first chapter, which occurs years before the main story opens. Cody has recently been through trauma, and yet he is determined to not let it get him down. Both men are open and caring, and Greg realizes he will have to overcome some very bad habits--withdrawal at times of emotional stress being one--if he is to get what he wants--a forever future with Cody and Rebecca.

HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?

MA: There's always plenty of hot sex in my books but that is never the point of them. Readers have told me that they can connect with my characters, and that they get something out of the way they face realistic challenges like we all face. And, I'm sorry if this sounds immodest, but readers will get a really good story. They will also get glimpses of some characters from another well loved Siren-Bookstrand series - The Divine Creek Ranch series by my good friend Heather Rainier. My next book, and the one Heather has in the works will be "cross-over" stories. We did a cross-over with my Love Under Two Cowboys and her His Tattooed Virgin. Our readers loved the idea and have been asking us for more.

HH: What do you enjoy most about being an author?

MA: I love writing. I love discovering who these characters are who have inhabited my head, and I love telling their stories and touching readers. I truly have the best job in the world.

HH: How has your writing career changed since you started out?

MA: In the beginning my career was me, telling stories of "classic" if erotic romance, with one man and one woman at the center. I was encouraged to spread my wings, and have been blessed to find amazing success writing ménage. As Morgan Ashbury I wrote several ménage stories. I have continued this sub-genre with the Lusty Texas series penned as Cara Covington.

HH: What do you think has been the most positive change?

MA: The most positive change is that I have so many readers who tell me that my stories make a difference to them - in all sorts of ways from showing them a side of themselves to simply helping them escape from their own lives for a couple of hours. Nothing makes me happier than hearing from readers! And I would be remiss if I didn't mention that my career has turned out to be more successful than I had ever imagined it could be,

HH: Where can readers find you online?

MA: They can find me at my website: or at my publisher: http://www, and at FaceBook:

HH: Thank you!
