|Finally indulging in a meeting over dinner, they agreed to succumb to one wild weekend. Not only did Blake have a design, sinful by nature, in mind to drive her into a roar of ecstasy, he had surprises of his own to give her including a torrid event with two very hot blooded police officers who happened to be his good friends and ones helping him solve a serious problem. Blake fulfilled every fantasy including voyeurism and the wicked foursome. The weekend was spectacular. Unfortunately real life interceded, forcing Blake into shadowy conversations after their night of passion with the lawmen. Incensed and realizing there was another woman, Shannon ended their sizzling affair, until Blake was finally forced to reveal a damning secret and one that had devastated him for years.

An Interview with Cassandre Dayne
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
HH: Cassandre, thank you for talking with us at TRS BLUE! Your featured book is Sinful by Design. Love that FINALLY we have a book about a romance reviewer. <g> Where did you get the idea for this steamy tale?
CD: It's actually a two fold process with the idea. First, I have developed a lot of friendships with people on line including reviewers and thought it absolutely would be a good idea to highlight them and you and I know ladies we all flirt a little bit sitting safe behind a computer and I have a very sweet attorney friend I've never met who I wanted to give him just a little taste of something that might spark some new passion in his marriage so I took the idea a bit further with adding speed dating into it.
HH: What do you like best about Shannon and why will readers relate to her?
CD: She's your every day woman trying to do the best she can at her job, she's a little forlorn in the love department and she's not a Barbie doll either.
HH: What do you like best about Blake and why will readers love him?
CD: He's been kicked around by women but keeps his integrity in so many ways. You get to see a playful side he never knew he had while he'd dealing with a damning secret.
HH: Okay, enquiring minds want to know. Have you ever been a reviewer? <g>
CD: Okay -- I currently am a reviewer on a couple of sites using my real girl and I know how difficult it can be not only time wise but trying to give an unbiased opinion on a book that perhaps isn't the best and you are friends with the person. Tough job!
HH: What else do you have in the works?
CD: OH you had to ask, didn't you? I have a backlist of books with Rebel Ink Press writing as Cassandre Dayne with one or two releases coming over the next year and of course others being writing. October is a HUGE month for me with six or seven releases. I also just signed a contract with Naughty Nights Press. I have two coming out in October and one in December with at least ten short stories and eight novellas coming out next year and I also have the first in a series coming out from two other pen names in October and November which will take me into 2016.
HH: How do you view the future of ebooks?
CD: They are here to stay first of all. They're going to continue to evolve as more writers ebb and flow as well at publishers. With so many writers and publishers I think we're going to see many non-traditional more out of the box books and ways to grab your attention.
HH: How much of your day is devoted to your writing career?
CD: Right now I am lucky enough to be able to spend my full time career writing and working in the industry. I am also the Director of Communications and Publicity for Rebel Ink Press. That means I spend seven days a week minimum of six hours working on marketing, developing new contacts, guest blogging and writing. I also handle preparation of my own trailers.
HH: What's your favorite way to interact with readers?
CD: Any time they leave me a comment or email I am thrilled and always respond. It's great to hear what they enjoyed and didn't enjoy.
HH: What is your favorite Halloween type/themed story? Why?
CD: Another great question. I have two books set to release on October 30th and they are about one of my fav's -- vampires but they don't sparkle! I'm getting them back to the days of being terrified of them while continuing to be fascinated by their sensuality.
HH: What do you most enjoy about Autumn?
CD: Hmmmm -- the thought of the first warm crackling fire, a lovely glass of merlot and curling up with my family for an afternoon chat.
HH: Thank you!
