HH: Justus, thank you for talking with us at TRS BLUE! Please tell us about your featured book, Bind Me.

HH: This is the latest in your very popular Masters series. How did the series itself come about?
JR: The Master Series came about by my curiosity of the BDSM lifestyle. Plus, I wanted to combine this lifestyle with erotic romance. Master Drake was the first character I developed and it went from there.
HH: How does Bind Me fit into this stellar series?
JR:Bind Me introduces the readers to the whole community that Master Drake and Dante are part of. Master Rex has been mentioned several times throughout the other books in the series and I thought it was about time he had his own book. Through Rex's story the reader gets a wonderful overview to the BDSM community that Xanthos has created.
HH: Which of these stories in the Masters series do you like best?
JR: I would have to say my favorite would be My Master. It is the first book in the series, so it's like my baby. lol
HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?
JR: I have two novellas Whips and Surrender to Me being released by Whiskey Creek Press this December.
I have a paranormal book titled Darkness is Coming coming out sometime this year. And I just put the finishing touches on a fantasy book titled Masquerade.
I'm now working on the next book in the Master Series titled Lilith's Web.
HH: What do you think today's readers are looking for in the romance genre?
JR: A good love story. It's that simple. It doesn't matter if the story is paranormal, BDSM, fantasy, contemporary etc.
HH: What changes do you see coming in the genre and how will it affect you?
JR: I see the erotic romance genre really growing and becoming more mainstream. This, of course, is great for me.
HH: What do you enjoy most about being a writer?
JR: I love weaving storylines together and creating characters the readers will love.
HH: Do you read print books, ebooks, or both?
JR: I read both.
HH: Any big plans for the fall?
JR: I would love to go up to upper Michigan and go on a few hikes to check out the leaves changing colors, bring my camera and get some amazing shots.
