Reviews for It's All in the Jeans

Whipped Cream gave 4 cherries to "IT'S ALL IN THE JEANS"!

Logan is just my kind of hero. Strong, determined, built and sexy. Libby is a spunky, feisty heroine. She moves in with her grandmother to save someone she loves.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was witty, and cute... Who would ever think that theey would meet their true love in a Senior's Community? I thought it was a pretty original premise, or at least one I had never witnessed before.

The characters were fun, and real... ...this had a ho hot and even sweet romance between two people who needed life and the possibility of love to be affirmed for them. A great read and one I would recommend to those looking for a fun read with some added heat.

FIVE ANGELS FROM FALLEN ANGEL REVIEWS

Tory Richards can write a hot story! It's All In The Jeans is a scorcher, with enough of a plot that it goes beyond being only erotic romance. Libby and Logan both show strong attachments to their grandparents, something that makes them both realistic. They make an agreement to come together for purely sexual reasons but both feel their attraction going to another level. Margaret and Vincent, two seniors who show there's still life beneath white hair, are loveable to the point of distraction. I laughed with them and cried over them, but the tears were pure joy. Tory Richards has written a hot story that shows that love is a good thing, at any age!

ROMANCE AT HEART MAGAZINE ...

It's All In The Jeans is a funny, sexy, and fun read filled with excitement, love and even a bit of danger. From a brush with a Hurricane named Dexter, to fighting off her ex-lover, Libby finds life with her grandmother is less than idyllic. Add to the mix, a recovering firefighter with baggage, and you have the recipe of a great read, one that will keep any respectable reader on their toes.

The end is surprising in its own way, and if you want a good page turner that is on the lighter side, then It's All In The Jeans is definitely the book for you.

About Tory Richards

Tory Richards is in her early fifties, has one daughter, one granddaughter, and a neice who's like her second daughter. She honestly don't know what she'd do without any one of them.

On top of writing, Tory works full time. So basically she's working all the time. At work she's on the computer, at home she's on the computer. She even bought a lap top so she could spend the evenings with her soul mate in front of the TV.

Right now writing is a hobby for Tory. Her goals are simple and realistic. By the time she retires in 7 years she'll be happy if she's just making enough "mad money" from it to be able to travel a little and spoil her grandchildren. It's the icing on the cake.

Tory likes to travel any place a cruise ship will take her. She don't like to fly but will if she has to. She collects antiques, most especially crocks, and art. She loves chocolate, who doesn't? And good coffee. Barnies has the best!

Tory wanted to be a writer since she was a kid, only life got in the way of her dreams. A couple years ago she decided to get serious and the rest is history.

An Interview with Tory Richards
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio

HH: Thank you for talking with us at TRS BLUE. Please tell us about your featured book, It's All in the Jeans.

TR: It's All in the Jeans is the story about a fire fighter recuperating from an accident that killed his two best friends, and a woman on a mission to keep her grandmother out of an assisted living facility. It's my first torrid romance with Whiskey Creek Press Torrid and is in print and ebook.

HH: A recovering hero and a heroine in a most unusual disguise. Where did you get the idea for this wonderful story?

TR: I'm a lot younger than most of the community and as I was driving through the neighborhood one day, at 15 miles an hour I might ad, daydreaming, the story took shape in my head. I had to figure out a way that would allow two young people to be living there, against the 55+ rules. Hence the Mrs. Doubtfire disguise Libby was forced to wear some of the times.

HH: What do you like best about Libby and how do you relate to her?

TR: Her sense of humor and spunk.

HH: What do you like best about Logan and why is her perfect for her?

TR: His loyalty and he rides a motorcycle:) He's perfect for Libby because she makes him face the demons tormenting him over the death of his friends.

HH: You infuse your stories with such humor. How difficult is this to do?

TR: Not really. The humor is pure me coming through. No matter what's going on in life, you've got to find humor in something just to get through it.

HH: You work full time also. How hard is it to find time to write and balance an outside job along with the rest of your life?

TR: Balance? What's that? LOL Just kidding. I'm not a very diciplined writer. I write when I feel like it. It's a hobby for me, even though I manage to do a little most days. My family comes first, though.

HH: How do you set the stage for your writing time?

TR: The stage is simple. My favorite old rocker reclyner with a lap top on my lap. TV on in the background, though that's disrupting as crap, especially on sci-fi Saturday. Coffee, tea or whatever on the coaster on the table next to me. Jammies on because it's evenings after work or on my days off. Usually have Woofy on the back of my chair hugging my neck, Gin Gin at my feel and Jezebel on my chest. They're my little kitties.

HH: Where and when do you do your best work?

TR: I've come to realize I do my best work when there's nothing but silence around me and I'm at my desk and able to concentrate. Unfortunately I rarely do that because I want to be out in the living room and not isolated all day in the den.

HH: What does your family think of your writing?

TR: Hubby thinks I write porn but is proud and supportive, though he hasn't read one book yet. Romance for him? No way! LOL My daughter and niece are the two who pushed me toward submitting to a publisher so you tell me:) The day my first book came out she called me to tell me she'd gone online and ordered one.

HH: What's the biggest reason you make time to write every day?

TR: Writing is my passion and has been since as long as I can remember. It's theraputic, takes me to new places, and gives me total control. And speaking of writing, I have a new release out on April15th titled, THE COWBOY WAY, in print and ebook with Whiskey Creek Press Torrid. Visit Tory Richards website for more info. Hopefully by then my brand new Tory site will have launched:)

HH: Thank you!
