Getting involved with her father’s ranch foreman and partner Chase Saunders isn’t in her plans either. But as unexplained incidences occur and Lacey’s life becomes threatened, fate throws her and Chase together when he makes it his mission to protect her. Reviews for The Cowboy Way

Blue Ribbon Rating Five from Romance Junkies!
"THE COWBOY WAY was excellent! Chase is the ultimate alpha, reluctant to express his feelings, controlling at times, but all in the best interests of Lacey. Lacey is an excellent match for him. She is independent enough that he can't walk all over her, without making the mistake of being stupid about it. All in all, THE COWBOY WAY was an entertaining romp in the hay, complete with chaps, skinny-dipping, al fresco nookie, and all the things that are guaranteed to make you wish for a glass of ice water. Excellent job!"

Whipped Cream Reviews gives "THE COWBOY WAY" their Best Book rating!
"I bow down in awe at Ms Richards's ability to craft, spin and captivate with the written word. This was without a doubt one of the best books I have read in a LONG time!"

"There is no doubt that I will be searching out much more of Ms Richards work to read and no doubt enjoy as much as I did this story. It is such a treat to find an author who can make you feel so strongly toward the story they have written. Ms Richards... you are my hero!"

The Romance Studio says... "Ms. Tory Richards has written a fabulously sensual, exciting book. The tension throughout the book was twofold. There was, of course, the sexual conflict between Chase and Lacey. These two characters were so well written and so aware of each other that it was incredible that the words didn't burn the pages. The sexual activity was well written and sizzling. The sensual atmosphere was a page-turning experience. The other individuals involved in this story were dynamic and enhanced the book."

"This was a great book which I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes vibrant characters with beautiful scenery and intense action. This is one author I would love to read again." - 5 Hearts, Brenda Talley

The Romance Junkies say... "THE COWBOY WAY is a fast-paced, sexy romance. Lacey is a strong heroine who knows what she wants and isn't afraid to ask Chase to give it to her. Chase is Alpha all the way, meeting her demands and then raising the ante. If you like cowboys (and who doesn't?) and a hot story, this is one for you."

About Tory Richards

A little about me... I work full time. So basically I'm working all the time. At work I'm on the computer, at home I'm on the computer. I even bought a lap top so I could spend the evenings with my hubby in front of the TV.

I like to travel any place a cruise ship will take me. I don't like to fly but I will if I have to. I collect antiques, most especially crocks, and art. I love chocolate, who doesn't? And good coffee. Barnies has the best!

I've wanted to be a writer since I was a kid, only life got in the way of my dreams. A few years ago I decided to get serious, with a little encouragement from my family, and the rest, as the saying goes, is history.

An Interview with Tory Richards
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio

HH: Tory, thank you for talking with us at TRS BLUE. Please tell us about your featured book, The Cowboy Way.

TR: I'm glad to be here today, Holly. This is the story where a young woman returns to her father's ranch for a little R and R, only to find she becomes the target of an escaped convict out for revenge. The ranch foreman and half owner of the ranch, our sexy alpha hero, makes it his mission to protect her whether she wants him to or not.

HH: What's your favorite scene in this story like?

TR: Wow, tough question. The one that comes to mind will give the ending away so I'll go with scene number two. The hot pool scene:)

HH: How long did you spend on writing this story?

TR: I actually wrote this story twenty years ago but had to do a lot of revising and updating before submitting it to a publisher.

HH: Why do you think it will appeal to romance readers?

TR: It's a cowboy romance! LOL Who doesn't like a hot cowboy hero?

HH: As a reader, why would you buy this book?

TR: It's a quick read, I don't have the patience for those 400 page romances. It has a lot of action and suspense in it, and let's not forget the love scenes between the hero and heroine. I mean, they're smokin!

HH: What else do you have coming up for lucky readers?

TR: I'm hoping to submit "The Promise", soon. It's a romance between a marine and his dead brother's wife. I'm writing the last chapter now and it takes place on a Vermont farm where the whole family has gathered for the holidays.

HH: What's your favorite part of the creative process in writing?

TR: Developing the characters and I love the editing part, does that count?

HH: What challenges do you face at this point in your career?

TR: Nothing really. Writing is a hobby for me, therapy if you will. I love sharing my stories with anyone who wants to read them. I wish I was a little more diciplined with my writing schedule, though. But I can't force myself to write.

HH: What are you most grateful for at this point in your career?

TR: That there are readers out there who really seem to enjoy my books. Some have written to tell me so. I love getting those letters.

HH: What are your plans for the summer?

TR: Stay in where it's cool! LOL I live in Florida and it's hotter than hades here.

HH: Thank you!
