A note from Ciana...
In March, the third book in the Sexplorations series, My Fishnet Fetish will be released. This book was written by Sahara Kelly and is such fun. Readers are going to love it. In April, I have book four in the series, Finding Her Rhythm. May features, Sahara's third book in the series, Touch Me, and in June we finish the series with my book Working up a Sweat. I'm really excited about this series - primarily because it was such fun to write. In July I have a book coming out I wrote with a dear friend, Nathalie Gray. Acid Rayne is an action-packed, steamy hot tale and some laughs thrown in for good measure.
I'm currently busy preparing for the RT Convention in April. I hope I'll get a chance to meet and chat with readers - that's one of my favorite things. I adore readers. They've made it possible for me to live the dream of being a published writer and I can't thank them enough.
Aside from that, I'm staying occupied working on a new cowboy series and the second book in my Soul of V'Kar series -- and grabbing whatever moment I can to chill, have some fun and snap a few photos. And if I'm very lucky, take in a rodeo and drool over the cowboys:) Ah yes, life is good!!
An Interview with Ciana Stone

HH: Ciana, thank you for talking with us at TRS BLUE. Please tell us about your featured story, The Thing About Cowboys.CS: The Thing About Cowboys features Delilah (Dee) Jackson. Dee's a photographer who works for an upscale Boston magazine. When she's assigned to do a series of shoots with Texas developer Cameron McIntryre, she figures he'll be just another rich guy in expensive boots. Cam is rich, but nothing about him is "just another guy". He's interested in Dee and makes no secret of it. Dee isn't opposed to a little Sexplorations but she's as headstrong as Cam when it comes to wanting to be in control. And one night with Cam has her running scared. He's far more than she bargained for and wants more from her than a quick roll in the hay. The problem is, Dee's skittish as an wild mare when it comes to giving her heart. Cam's got his work cut out for him but he's determined to prove that he's got what it takes to satisfy her Thing About Cowboys.
HH: Where did you get the idea for this sizzling story? CS: I honestly can't say. All I knew in the beginning was that Dee was a photographer with an assignment. The rest of it was a complete surprise when it unfolded during the writing process.
HH: What do you like best about Delilah and how do you relate to her? CS: I like Dee's honesty and her spunk. And I love her devotion to her friends. I can relate to her in terms of friendship and also in holding onto your heart until you're sure it's the right man.
HH: What do you like about Cam and why is he the perfect man for her?
CS: Have mercy! There's nothing I don't like about Cam. He's perfect for Dee because he "gets" her and doesn't want to change her. That's the best and truest kind of love and having a hot hunk feel that way makes her damn lucky.
HH: What can you tell us about the Sexploitations series and how it came about?
CS: Seven nights in a Mexican jail for drunk and disorderly ... we had nothing to do so ...
HH: What can you tell us about your story, My Fishnet Fetish? CS: My Fishnet Fetish was written by Sahara Kelly and is a really sexy fun-filled romp with a most unique heroine and a hero that will set your pants on fire!
HH: What else can we look forward to in this fabulous series?
CS: Lots of fun. Heroines who are real and have the same issues you and I have - who agonize over whether a man is worth a Brazilian wax and if the red dress makes her look fat. Heroines who have friends to encourage and support them - and tease them without mercy. And heroines who find the courage to step outside their safety zones and take a chance on sexy men who offer sizzling Sexplorations and a whole lot more.
HH: What are you working on now?
CS: I'm working on the second book in my Soul of V'Kar series and the first book in a new cowboy series.
HH: What do you enjoy reading?
CS: Well, good reviews of my books are my fav reads:) Seriously, I like just about everything. I'm an equal opportunity reader enjoy fiction or non-fiction (depending on my mood).
HH: Are you attending any conventions, conferences or other events this year?
CS: I'll be attending the Romantic Times convention later this month in Orlando and in October will be attending EC's first Romanticon.
