About Raine Delight
Raine Delight loves to be pampered by her harem of men that exist solely for her pleasure. Wait…..that was in a movie she saw. Hey, she can dream. J Raine loves to fight with her muse, attack her manuscripts and find a way to silence the many voices in her head. Inspiration hits at odd times and for Raine, a blank word document page gives her many possibilities on story ideas. Living with her two kids, a significant other who supports her every move in writing and doesn’t seem to mind she gets up at 2 am to type away on the computer. With a love for Johnny Depp, movies and 80’s hair bands, Raine finds a way to bring all her chaotic thoughts into a story that tells her readers about love and romance.
Raine Delight is a pseudonym of a self professed book lover and after one too many TSTL characters, decided to see if she could write something a little better. Well many drafts later, Devon Falls series came to together. Check out my book pages to see what is going on with me. My muse is a male nut who likes to leave me to go sip mai tais on the beach and leave me foundering for words; though eventually he takes pity on me and gets my words flowing and characters start settling down.
Personal notes: I live with my own boytoy and two kids. I love Johnny Depp movies and enjoy hiking, reading and watching movies with my family.

An Interview with Raine Delight
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
HH: Raine, thank you for talking with us at TRS. Your featured book is Fantasies Unbound and it is one emotionally-charged story. Where did the idea originate?
RD: Actually it originally was part of the Devon Falls series but just didn’t fit well in it. So I changed it a round, let my love of the Fae & added a few interesting things in it and VOILA! A new story that I find, this time around (has been released before) is much better than the last time it was released.
HH: What do you like best about Skye and why will readers relate to her?
RD: I tried to make her a real live woman, who has curves, cellulite and hates dating. =) She isn’t a size 2 and a model but hopefully someone readers can relate to.
HH: What do you like best about her fantasy man and why will readers love him?
RD: Aryan is my ode to fairy stories and movies I love so much. He is strong, determined and prefers not to have his mother, the Fae Queen, decide who he should marry.
HH: What can you tell us about the magic that might bring them together?
RD: The magic in Fantasies Unbound is part magic spell that Skye’s aunt gives her and part Fae Legend from a magical Faberge Egg. All combined, it gives these two something that will enhance the love they find together.
HH: What's your secret for writing amazing sensual stories?
RD: A lot of chocolate and coffee. *laughs*
HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?
RD: Currently I am writing a few WIP’s that I can finally sit down and give my attention too after six months of edits for six books. I got a Sci-fi Menage (MMF) that is almost ready to be submitted, a cowboy M/M novella is aching to be told and I have a new series itching between my shoulders wanting me to write it. =) Hoping to get a few months free then start subbing them out. Plus my Devon Falls Series will continue with four more books in 2013.
HH: What goals have you set for yourself at this point in your career?
RD: I don’t plan goals more like targets to me. This year I plan to have two new books out on top of what was released already. If I get anymore accepted than great but I am determined to not have any more back to back releases, mainly I killed myself in edits for the last six months.
HH: What sources of inspiration do you draw from for ideas?
RD: Lots of things actually. Can be a snippit of a song, a news article, a picture.
HH: What's the best book you read in 2011?
RD: A trick question since I read a lot. *laughs* I can’t pin point one in particular because many that I think is really good may not appeal to anyone else. =)
HH: What are you most looking forward to in 2012?
RD: Lots of things. Health, happiness, surviving the end of the world *snickers*. I am eager to explore more ideas my muse has for me and maybe finally take that much needed vacation….maybe. =)
HH: Thank you!
