Milly Taiden

Only the hottest sex can cool a wolf in heat...

After her sister is bitten by a werewolf, geneticist Sophia Reece begins researching shape-shifters and isolates a gene she calls Furry Beast -- FB for short. But in her excitement over her discovery -- dancing in the lab is never a good idea -- she has a teeny little accident with the samples, one canine, one feline, and winds up landing on the syringes, pointy side up.

Werewolf Chase is head over heels in lust with Sophia. He can’t stop thinking about the human’s sexy body or how badly he wants to get her naked. But she acts as if he has fleas. So why, all of a sudden, does she stare at him like a wolf in heat? And what smells like cat?

Order today from All Romance Ebooks!

When she experiences her first mating heat, Sophia isn't prepared for the new feelings she's experiencing, and her secret desire for Chase refuses to remain under wraps. For Chase, this is his wildest fantasy come true -- to finally get his hands on the curvy, caramel-skinned Latina. But when some serious predators come sniffing around her research, Sophia will have to find out what she's really made of, and Chase will have to decide if he's man -- or wolf -- enough to make things permanent...

"The debut release from Milly Taiden is hotter than an Aussie barbeque in the middle of summer! Smokin!! "Chase's look was hot, wicked, and not appropriate for minors." Milly Taiden has a way with words that made me giggle constantly. You can tell her great sense of humour from the way she weaves smart ass comments into every page. Loved it. Chase is the dominant alpha willing and eager to protect his mate. And Sophia is the strong-minded female who doesn't need a minder. Their relationship takes off like a rocket and doesn't come back down till the final page. The sex hit the XXX steamy mark and included a little bit of everything. There was definitely a lot of stamina for these two horny shifters. Milly also put a brand new spin on the common paranormal/shifter story which I found very enjoyable. This is going to be one extremely dirty, hot and steamy series. Two thumbs up!!"

An Interview with Milly Taiden
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio

HH: Milly, thank you so much for talking with us at TRS. Your featured book is Sharp Change. Where did the idea for this thrillingly unique story?

MT: I love reading books about shape shifters. But I noticed that most of them revolve around someone being a shifter or getting turned, but not figuring out how that person got to that state or even if it could be stopped or reversed. So I came up with this idea for this geeky scientist who had the hots for an Alpha. So this geeky funny scientist figures out how to shape shifters shift, but at the same time ends up having an accident and changing her life forever.

HH: What do you like about Sophia and what's her greatest strength?

MT: I think Sophia's greatest strength is her wit and the fact she doesn't let anything deter her from her goal. She worked really hard to find the answer to her experiment and did it. I love that she's funny and doesn't let Chase, who's an alpha, boss her around.

HH: What do you like best about Chase and what makes him different than most heroes?

MT: Chase is of the belief that he has to make his mate happy. That includes taking care of her when she's not well and being understanding to her body's changes, while still ensuring her safety.

HH: How did you go about creating the world where their story takes place?

MT: Well, I like to think there are different people out in the world we consider just human. Those that have something special. I mixed those people with a world were some people know of shifters. Like everything, there are those that hate them and those that like them, but in the end it's how they mingle that interests me.

HH: What did you enjoy most about writing this story?

MT: I loved writing it, period. I had fun with Chase and Sophia. Sophia mostly. And it was great to try my hand at a story that involved a combination of heat, love, romance and action. I think that's what people find in most of my stories.

HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?

MT: As Milly Taiden, I currently have Fate's Wish, along with Mate Event, which is part of the Halloween Heat III Anthology, out now. And some time in the next few weeks Wynter's Captive should come out. Some more wolves.

Under my other pen name of April Angel, I have Mr. Buff and in the  next few weeks A Hero's Pride. Stranded Temptation should release in Jan. 2013.

HH: What are you most excited about in your career right now?

MT: I think the fact that I'm seeing releases pretty quickly. I'm enjoying seeing my  name out there and it inspires me to write more, faster. LOL. I may dip my hand in YA at some point in the future, so who knows. I love writing everything and don't limit myself.

HH: What are you looking forward to most in the rest of 2012?

MT: Spending time with family and writing some more.

HH: What are you reading at the moment?

MT: I just finished reading Dianne Duvall's Phantom Shadows...Loved it!!!

HH: Do you have a writing hero and if so, who would it be?

MT: I have a few writing heroes. My biggest hero has to be Mina Carter. She's my best friend and a fantastic writer. She inspires me daily. She writes unbelievable stories and is a fantastic mom, wonderful friend and amazing human being. And she still makes the time, among her crazy schedule, for me. I can't tell you how much that means, when I know the schedule she keeps.

HH: Thank you!
