"Dr. Elizabeth Randall is used to successfully treating her patients, but she is unable to keep her daughter Jordan's leukemia in remission.
Jordan's biological father Blake had a strained relationship with his father and had always felt rejected by him.
Blake must learn to let go of the past in this emotional tale."

About Kim Watters
At twelve years old, Kim fell in love with romance after she borrowed a romance novel from the book shelf of her older sister, Karin. An avid reader, she was soon hooked on the happily ever after endings. For years she dreamt of writing her own romance novel, but never seemed to have the time.
After she graduated from Northeast Missouri State University (Truman State) with a degree in Business Administration/Management, she moved to Chicago to pursue another dream of being an actress and model.
Tired after six years of the hustle and bustle of the city, she relocated to a small town in Arizona just north of Phoenix where there is no public transportation and the cowboys still ride their horses to the bars. The wide open spaces of Arizona gave her the inspiration to sit down and finally begin to write.
Eight years and three manuscripts later, she sold her first novel to Avalon Books and finally Harlequin’s Love Inspired a few years later.
She belongs to Romance Writers of America, Novelists Inc., PASIC, American Christian Fiction Writers, Valley of the Sun Romance Writers, Desert Rose RWA.
She still lives in that small town in Arizona with her son, Shane, daughter, Emily, three cats, one neurotic hamster and two fish.

An Interview with the Kim Watters
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio
HH: Kim, thank you for talking with us at TRS. Your featured book is And Father Makes Three. Where did the idea for this heart-warming tale originate?
KW: Thanks for having me here, Holly. I really appreciate it. I can't imagine any worse nightmare for a parent than to find out their child has cancer. So I brainstormed with my critique group possible scenarios and came up with a mother whose daughter has leukemia and the struggle she faces to find a cure for her. She's not a compatible donor and struggles to find one, but when the biological father shows up wanting to be part of her life, the heroine has has some choices to make. Especially when she's not sure if the adoption was really legal.
HH: What can you tell us about Elizabeth and why will readers relate to her?
KW: Even though her daughter is adopted, I feel she's your normal mom who will do anything for her child. She won't stop at anything to find a cure for Jordan, even if it means allowing her biological father to become involved with his daughter.
HH: What can you tell us about Blake and why will readers love him?
KW: Blake never thought he'd be father material having no experiences to draw from but when fatherhood is thrust on him, he steps up to the plate. And he's a hunky fireman/paramedic. What isn't there to love?
HH: How does Jordan make the story extra special? <g>
KW: She's your typical kid, except she's in the hospital for the entire book. Since the subject of leukemia is kind of depressing, I tried to keep the scenes with Jordan a bit more upbeat and slightly humorous.
HH: What do you enjoy most about writing for Harlequin's Love Inspired line?
KW: Good question. I'd say that I find it awesome I can combine my faith with my love of writing and having an editor that really makes me work to put out the best book possible.
HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?
KW: Well, there's my back-list, which you can find on my website or on Amazon. I have a proposal in to Harlequin's new Heartwarming line and I'm still up early in the morning working on another Love Inspired that has nothing to do with the medical world. LOL.
HH: Where can readers find all of your works?
KW:My website. www.kimwatters.com www.amazon.com
HH: What would we find in your to-be-read pile?
KW: All romance of course, and mostly Love Inspireds. I'm not going to name any names to protect myself. :)
HH: What other in person or online appearances will you be making this year?
KW: I will be signing And Father Makes Three at Barnes & Noble in N. Phoenix July 14, and as always, I contribute to several blogs. Much Cheaper Than Therapy, Craftie Ladies of Romance Blog and Love Inspired Authors blog. I have a list of appearances on my website of the other places I'll be at this month as well. www.kimwatters.com
HH: When you're not reading or promoting you like to __________?
KW: Write? Oh, besides that, hang out with my kids and laugh at the crazy antics my cats do. One has learned to flush the toilet.
HH: Thank you!
