Besides, there isn't much chance Nate will find out that Adam was once his people's Kokopelli. His powers were stripped from him, along with the magical tattoo on his chest, when his orientation was discovered.

Nate is going crazy with guilt. Before his wife's death, he never looked at anyone else, woman or man. Now his dreams are filled with Adam. He tries to keep his mind on his job and off Adam's sexy body, but in a moment of weakness they share a kiss that sends them both up in flames.

Their relationship risks both their hearts and Adam's female fan base, but the attraction is too strong to ignore. Then someone takes a shot at Adam-and his tattoo begins to reappear, forcing him to come clean with his lover. And Nate to decide exactly where his future lies…before a killer steals it away from them.

Warning: This book contains rockin' music, smoky pubs, the mystical legend of Kokopelli and lots of playful, hot manlove.

Reviews for Seeking Kokopelli

""This book has a lot going for it: two likeable main characters with a deep emotional bond in Adam and Nate, an interesting premise, good secondaries in the other band members, blistering hot sex, and an unexpected villain willing to kill to get what he wants. There's even a satisfying ending. What more could a reader ask for? Give this M/M a chance. You won't be sorry you did." ~ Literary Nymphs Reviews" - Literary Nymphs Reviews

An Interview with Shelley Munro
By Holly Hewson for The Romance Studio

HH: Shelley, thank you for talking with us at TRS! Please tell us about your featured book, Seeking Kokopelli.

SM: Thanks for having me to visit again. Seeking Kokopelli is a story of two friends-Adam, the lead singer in a band called Stampede, and Nate who is a roadie. Adam who is firmly in the closet has harbored a secret crush on his friend for some time and, when he notices Nate looking back, he decides it's time to make a move. Subtly of course! Nate is still mourning the death of his wife and doesn't want anything other than friendship with Adam. He feels as if he is being disloyal and cheating on his wife, but even so, he finds himself thinking more and more about Adam.

Somewhere along the line Adam picks up a stalker or so everyone thinks. Meanwhile, something from Adam's past has come back to taunt him-the family calling of Kokopelli.

HH: A unique and amazing story of two men with a very special bond who risk so much even thinking about being together. Where did you get the idea for their story?

SM: My husband and I love to travel. During our last trip to America we spent some time in the Southwest. The image of Kokopelli is everywhere on billboards, on T-shirts, jewelry, pottery and so many other things. He's a fascinating character and once I saw him, I wanted to know his history. I learned he was a fertility god who was also known as a trickster, a healer and a storyteller. He went from village to village playing his flute and making sure both the crops flourished and the women were fertile. It's said that in some villages all the young women were pregnant after he left.

The story made me think a lot. I began thinking what if? and Adam and Nate started to come to life. Seeking Kokopelli is the end result.

HH: What do you like best about each Nate and Adam?

SM: Nate is strong and protective of Adam and the other members of Stampede. He's loyal and a little reserved. Adam is far more out-going and popular. He can be a bit of a tease so he's a great foil for the more distant Nate.

HH: What sort of research went into this story?

SM: I researched the legend of Kokopelli and the Southwest. And as with every story I write there are always the small, everyday details that need researching such as travel times, scenery and setting.

HH: What else do you have in store for lucky readers?

SM: I have several more releases coming out this year. I have books nine and ten in my Middlemarch Mates series. Tiger by the Tail is a m/m/f while Blue Lady is a traditional m/f romance. In September I have a historical release called The Spurned Viscountess from the new Carina Press. Currently, I'm working on another m/m story featuring werewolves.

HH: What do you think today's readers are looking for and how do you fill that demand in your writing?

SM: I think today's reader wants a fast-paced story, something that's a little different from what is currently out there, a story that will take them on a journey and away from their worries. At least that's the sort of book I want to read. I tend to write the kind of books I like to read.

HH: What are you most proud of in your writing career?

SM: Writing is hard work. A writer is only as good as their last book, so I try to learn new things and strive to write better books with each one. I'm proud that I can write and actually make a career out of my passion because the journey of a writer isn't an easy one. There are constant ups and downs. I'm proud of myself for weathering both the ups and downs and still being here.

HH: What makes it all worth it to you as an author?

SM: It's incredibly satisfying when a reader writes to me and says how much they enjoy my books. That alone makes all the hours I sit at the keyboard worth while.

HH: Do you read print books, ebooks, or both?

SM: I read both. Ebooks are great when I'm traveling so I tend to buy more ebooks than print.

HH: Any big plans for the summer?

SM: It's actually winter down here In New Zealand, but I'm looking forward to warmer weather and BBQs again. I'm tired of all this rain.

HH: Thank you!
