This was a fantastic contemporary short story. It is no secret that I love well-written stories involving curvy heroines and the fabulous men who fall in love with them. Eden and Nick are a realistic couple and individually it was interesting to examine their strengths and weaknesses. Eden is so set in her feelings from the past that she finds it hard to open up to a future with the one guy who has always held a special place in her heart. I loved watching Nick team up with Eden's mom and I enjoyed the fact that he saw hi lady for exactly who she is and those traits are what he loves. The setting comes alive but is subtle and doesn't overpower the emotions that come from the leading characters. This author is definitely going on my must-read list. This was a wonderful story for Valentine's or any other day.
