| Having known each other most of their lives, Isabella and Justin have a brother/ sister type relationship until Isabella returns to town with her fiancé for her grandfather's funeral. All of a sudden Justin sees Isabella as more than a little sister. The next time he sees Isabella, she is stranded on the side of the road in a blizzard. He gets her back to his house but they are snowed in. Isabella's fiancé has dumped her and feeling a little rejected, Isabella turns to Justin for validation. Before they know it, emotions have exploded and they agree to explore some wicked fantasies with each other.
I really enjoyed this twist on the classic friends to lovers story. The characters were all likable and believable. Isabella is a lawyer and has plenty of self-confidence, however, she feels a little lost with the ending of her engagement. Her ability to tease and tantalize Justin is believable since they have a long history together. Justin also has plenty of confidence and is more hesitant to explore the attraction between them. He doesn't stand a chance when Isabella dares him to play strip Scrabble though! Their friends play a secondary role and also give us a secondary love story. This story is very even paced and held my interest with a plot that didn't seem forced but tailor made for the characters. The sex scenes were numerous and at times over too quickly but overall very well written. I'll look forward to more stories from this new to me author.
