Annmarie Weston has a bit of a problem in the form of gorgeous, half naked men and the young women she employs. Specifically, the girls can’t get anything done for looking at the sexy construction workers next door. Only problem is she is a bit hypocritical given the fact that she’s mesmerized by one herself. What does she do? She decides to confront the men and demand they work completely dressed from now on. But that backfires a little.

Nick Marone noticed the way Annmarie was watching him. Oh did he ever! He didn’t imagine she’d come to him though. When she stumbled into his office, he led them down a path of sensual desire that affected him more than he was willing to admit and he knew Annmarie felt it too. But for either of them to admit their sexual attraction was more than just lust would be to burry the past and put aside the present and that’s not something either of them are willing to do.

Yet.

Ms. Douglas can certainly weave a smoldering tale. I thought my computer would burst into flames before I got the first actual sex scene. I loved the characters and their emotional turmoil. It was just real. I found myself lost in this book and I really didn’t want to find my way out. Wonderful read! Congratulations are in order for Ms. Douglas.
