Kara Lynn Russell has done it again. She has continued her series from Orchard Hill. This is the series that Pansy Parker and Misty Green, arch rivals in matchmaking, live and breathe fixing people up with the perfect match. Their latest target? David Daniels, the brother of the late Maggie Daniels. Maggie had a daughter, Charity, three years old, who had a medical problem—dyspraxia. Sarah Rogers was a speech therapist. She saw them in town one day, shortly after Maggie’s funeral, and was able to communicate with her using both speech and sign language.

David was solely responsible for Charity, but because he had been so busy traveling for his job, he had never spent much time with her. Now he had custody and didn’t know how to cope with her lack of speech. Sarah tried to explain it from a technical standpoint. This led to a more than casual relationship which the matchmakers decided should be encouraged.

Ms. Kara Lynn Russell has developed a series about Orchard Hill with the two matchmakers who captured the town’s attention. This latest offering just takes the storyline to the next level. The book has a fabulous plot. The two main characters were quiet and committed to the Lord. Each offering Ms. Russell gives us just keeps getting better. She introduced several different scenarios this couple had to go through which were totally different and greatly intriguing.

During the courtship of David and Sarah, and the attempt to take Charity away from them, readers were also reunited with Hope and Faith from previous books. It was like coming home to a reunion of all my favorite characters. I love this series and each book I read is my favorite. I highly recommend that anyone read this book. You will definitely not be disappointed. The biggest problem will be waiting for Halloween for the next segment of this great sequence.
