| Journalist Gwen Taylor, along with her friend and photographer Judith, are traveling through Scotland to cover the local customs and traditions. One morning Gwen wakes up in a place that is unfamiliar to her. She finds herself in a big, white tent without her clothes and no memory of what took place the night before. Now all Gwen wants to do is find her clothes, for one thing, find Judith, then get back home to the states. What Gwen doesn't need is the big gorgeous redheaded Scotsman, Grant McLeod, following her around making remarks about the two of them and marriage.
I'll be honest, this story just wasn't what I thought it was going to be and I had a real problem getting into it. I didn't have a problem with the writing style. My problem was what was written and the way the story flowed. I didn't feel like I got to know the characters. Gwen didn't seem to grow or develop. With the title Accidentally A Bride, it would seem like Gwen would realize that was married to Grant but that wasn't the true at all. Gwen had no clue that she was married, the marriage was only hinted at. The whole thing seem unrealistic to me, the fact that after hours Grant was so in love with her. To me, it was just to more to believe. I felt this story could have been so much better. I honestly enjoy a good romance as much as the next person but this was just so unreal, even by book standards.
