Peyton Pendagrass was not having a good day. In the middle of nowhere, her car broke down and her cell phone died. No, this was not a good day at all. While she walked through the seemingly deserted town, she happened upon Chimera’s Book Store. Thinking to use the phone inside the shop to call for help, Peyton was surprised to learn that the proprietor knows her name and her life story. He has an unusual offer for her; he will grant a wish that will allow her to relive any event in her life again.

Christopher Grant has never regretted anything in his life as much as he regrets leaving Peyton. They had a brief fling and he realized that he was falling in love with her. Not prepared for the severity of his feelings, he fled. Now he’s back and he’s not about to let her get away from him again.

Adrienne Kama’s Again was a surprisingly humorous, deliciously carnal and altogether fantastic book. Immediately, I was drawn into the world of Peyton Pendagrass and Christopher Grant so much so that I was up reading into the wee hours of the morning. Ms. Kama has always had a talent for writing characters that are extremely likeable and easy to relate to. I loved the heroine’s quirky sense of humor and her chutzpah. As for the hero, he was three shades shy of being a real ass. However, I admired his tenacity. He simply would not take no for an answer and to that end, he won over his dream girl. You have to love a man who knows what he wants and goes after it, no matter the cost (even when that could be felony kidnapping charges).

The passion shared by these characters was undeniable. The sex scenes were explosive and served to establish not only a physical bond but a deep emotional bond as well.

Peopled with unforgettable characters and an unexpected sense of whimsy, Adrienne Kama’s Again is a story that I will remember for some time to come.
