Each time Chaos tempts her, Air slowly leaves, not making any connection with Angelina, fearing that indeed its Goddess is lost. Chaos wants to torment her like she did him all those years. He wants to believe she is the one he loved eons ago, Eurynome. Then a part of him is glad she isn’t. Eurynome used him once and he has never forgotten the power she had over him. Angelina was not the one that left and took a piece of his heart. He will torment her body knowing deep down she will never love him. And no matter how much he taunts her, if she is to gain control of her life, she must trust Chaos. Without any trust, all the elements will fall in peril. Angelina seeks to find a balance with Chaos that will bring peace between them. In his own way, Chaos knows he loves her and deeps down wishes to protect and cherish her but this time he may have gone too far.
The Elements: Goddess of Air needless to say is a whirlwind read. Angelina and Chaos immediately hook the reader and keep them affixed to the story until the end. Angelina is put into a test to try to stay a step ahead of Chaos and the sensual agony he inflicts on her, is electrically charged. With an intriguing plot, Ms. Karland incorporates a sizzling tale, involving trust and love, and an overworking imagination for Chaos. The lengths he goes through trying to get over the hurt of a broken heart, by using Angelina, is engaging. This is a fantastic series of delights that oozes with heated fury.
