Joshua Ashford feels like he has the luck of the Irish. No matter what obstacles land in his life, someone is always there keeping a vigil watch over him. It's like he has a guardian angel just for him. Even at night when he sleeps, his special Angel filters his dreams. When he meets his angel up close, Kaelin rouses strong feelings in his heart.

Kaelin has such deep compassion for people's predicaments, never giving up, that she is referred as a maverick. After she helps Joshua several times, she urges him to show some goodwill and help a dying woman and her unborn child. Kaelin and Joshua never saw the power ball that struck but they found themselves falling in love. Unfortunately angels must never tread in deep waters with a human, but when their love shakes heaven, everything erupts.

A Kiss So True is enchanting as it explores the lives of humans and angels in a world that is often filled with chaos. The story is refreshing with some delightful banter. The way the two characters intermingle with each other through their actions and cozy scenes send warmth through the pages. Ms. Pereira weaves in a few surprises with a wonderful blend of characters that touches the heart and leaves a satisfying conclusion that brings a smile.
