| Andy and CK have a connection and are drawn to each other immediately, though they try to deny it. Andy is a sub and thinks that he knows what he wants. He plays hard and CK shows him that there is a different way to play that gives him the feeling that he is looking for. CK is intrigued and fascinated by the contradictions of Andy. He wants to know more about Andy. They both have feelings that grow the more time they spend together. There are ups and downs in their relationship from the beginning but nothing that they can't overcome.
Andy and CK are great characters. They are written really well and the contradictions make sense. The story flows extremely well. There are definite surprises in this story, some good, some bad. The characters definitely drew me in and I didn't want to stop reading. I wanted to find out what was going on between the two of them and how they were working everything out. The ups and downs that they had just made it more real. Every relationship has troubles and this one was no different. I loved the genuine emotion that was there in the actions and the dialogue and the way that it was all natural and real. The BDSM did not take away from the story. It added to it and enhanced the story. It was a way for the couple to connect on a deeper level. I loved the interactions between CK and Andy when they were playing and when they weren't. The sex was definitely hot and explicit. It is throughout the book and there is always some type of emotion involved. I loved the dialogue and all of the interactions, especially between Andy and CK. This was a great book and great part of the series. You do not need to read the first to have full enjoyment of this story although it introduces you to some of the other characters. I can't wait for more.
