| As soon as Jessica Seymour is hired as a new reporter at World Watch,
she realizes she's about to be fired. Her new boss, hotshot reporter
Sam Armstrong, doesn't think Jess will cut it. She's not experienced
enough to be able to handle a hard news program like World Watch. Jess
is determined to prove him wrong however. She takes whatever low-grade
stories he throws at her and tries her hardest to make them
interesting and relevant to the viewers of World Watch.
But when Jess and Sam's private lives intersect, the attraction that has been building between them hits a boiling point. Jess needs help from an abusive ex-boyfriend and though Sam isn't sure if it is a smart idea to get involved, he can't help playing white knight to Jess's damsel in distress. When Jess is forced to move in with Sam for the time being, in order to protect herself from her ex, they only continue to grow closer. But it's a trip to Alaska that proves to be the make it or break it point for this couple. Will Alaska open their hearts to the feelings they have for each other, or will the story they are working on together make them realize that no happily-ever-after awaits them? Alaskan Fire is a dreamy and sweet romance featuring a workaholic hero and an ambitious heroine. Jess and Sam both have dreams that don't involve each other, but they soon come to realize that sometimes love is an unstoppable power. Arrogant and commanding Sam must learn to let go of his control of everything in order to win Jess's heart, while Jess must recover from a bad relationship and prove to Sam that she wants something more than a fling. Complications and the requisite female rival all add up to a story that is tender, heartfelt, and sure to please readers who like stories that keep a tight focus on the developing love story between the hero and heroine. Alaskan Fire definitely fits that bill and will warm your heart with its messages of love.
