While following a transport shuttle carrying Earth's General Hamilton, the Kalquorians are excited when they realize that it's led them to a secret compound on the dark side of Europa, and thrilled when it turns out to be a nunnery, which means much needed Earth women to keep their species from going extinct.  In fact, the very first female they see makes the lead clan determined to have her as their Matara.  Cassidy Hamilton thought the worst had happened when her Grandfather sequestered her on Europa, but then the Kalquorians invade, and as much as they stir secret desires in her, she's determined to remain hidden and leads them on a merry chase.  But eventually her own curiosity is her downfall and she's claimed by Tranis, Lidon and Degorsk.  But will they be able to overcome the brainwashing of Earths government and set Cassidy and the other women free to be who they were meant to be?

Okay, I just have to get this off my chest really quick, I LOVE the Kalquorians! So now onto the rest of my review.  This is the thirrd book in Ms. St. John's Kalquor Series, and for most of the books I say you can read on their own. However with this book, I strongly suggest that you've at least read the first book of the series before you read this book.  This one is just as good as all of the rest have been, if not even better.  Cassidy is already questioning some of the tenets of her faith, but what her Kalquorian Clan asks of her is considered such a huge sin that she's having a very hard time realizing how much they revere her for herself, not just as a  breeder.  This book, despite the amazingly hot sex scenes is a bit more serious than some of the other books in the series. Some people may have issues with the fact that the women taken were nuns and those on the path to be nuns, but it didn't really bother me since her government considers women second class citizens and works of the devil, while the Kalquorians truly admire and revere all women, even the nuns, above childbearing age and the ones too young are protected.
