I loved this story, it was gritty and funny and everything mafia related rolled up into one. The Cosa Nostra has always fascinated me and this story delves into the life of one engaging mafia princess. Gabriella was one of the most intriguing heroines I've come across in a while. She is everything I long to be; she takes matters into her own hands and doesn't rely on anyone else. Lane is fabulous, he's so perfectly flawed. I loved that he was such a neat-freak and she was such a slob, they were so well-suited to one another. This story had me laughing out loud at the antics of some of the oddballs one minute and flinching at the unforgiving violence the next. The secondary characters in this story were as entertaining as the lead couple. The descriptions were magnificent; I particularly enjoyed the scenes from the island. I couldn't wait to turn each page to see what would happen next. Suzanne Rossi has definitely been added to my must-read list. The terrific twist on the run of the mill mob story makes this a definite keeper. Frankie is so amusing and if he wasn't such a mortadella he might have been a great sexy bad boy.
