From the moment Anna and Daniel see each other again, sparks begin flying. Both characters are well written and extremely likable. Daniel's character is highlighted by his determination to discover why Anna stopped speaking to him when they were teenagers and make her realize they belong together. Anna is a character almost any woman can identify with who secretly longs for the romance she has outwardly given up on. The sex scenes are both steamy and romantic, which only highlights the whole feeling of the story.

Though this is an enjoyable story, the subplot between secondary characters Pamina and Abra could have been a bit longer. They are interesting characters, and it might have been nice to see more about them and their relationship. That said, this is a very nice story to end the Pleasure Inn series.
