Cheryl Barden dreads growing old, fearing she has yet lived her life. Once a lawyer, she gave it all up when she married. Then she comes home one day and catches her husband in bed with another woman. That was enough to throw him out for good. Laura Tilford was simply cruising the internet, searching some historical romance, when she just happened, to, by chance, enter some gay chatline to discover her husband, Stuart, was meeting with another man. Laura knew she could never compete with his new man love. She files for a divorce, and she and Cheryl decide to go into their own business after thy find some property for sale. Unfortunately, someone else wants that property and intends on making sure Cheryl does not get her little grubby hands on it. Once Cheryl and Laura set their mind to go after their dream, will an upper hand make them pay royalty for interfering with their best laid plans?

I liked the way the women get back at some of the men in this page-turner. All The Trimmings does live up to its name. There were some measures that I don’t think I would have been so drastic with but I can understand their motives. I didn’t like the way some of the women were treated, but indeed, still in this present world, it is true, women are still degraded and treated wrongfully, even by their own husbands. I could share in some of the sorrows and headaches that Cheryl and Laura endured. I thought Tesni Morgan did a good job in describing her characters, along with creating a heated storyline that gave good momentum and flowed at a wonderful pace. I had never read a book with a backdrop like this and I thoroughly liked it immensely.
