Amanda Keller was on a mission. She was going to kill Rafael Perez and get the gold he had stolen. Rafael had killed her husband and kept her father from getting his cut of the money. Amanda’s mother and sister were being abused. Her father wouldn’t allow them to leave until he got his money. Lying on her stomach with her rifle pointed through the woods at the gang run by Rafael, she was shocked when a man came up, jumped on her back and covered her mouth. He dragged her away from the gang.

Randall Sloane and Zane Owens were Texas Rangers planning to retire from the rangers as soon as Perez and his gang were arrested. They were shocked when they came upon this young woman stalking the gang. Both men knew when they saw Amanda she would be their next wife. Their previous wife was killed by Indians. She wasn’t strong like this one was.

Ms. Lana Dare has given us scorching ménage trios with a fantastic plot. The main characters were all three dynamic, strong characters who didn’t give up on what was important to them. The men had individual agendas and could imagine themselves as a “three-way married” couple. The woman was quite inexperienced, but willing. There was no forced sexual content. The storyline was highly explicit and a large part of the book was their sensuality. Of course, this book is not for those underage.

This book was beautifully written, highly emotional and covered several distinct areas. The abuse, murder and family connections were a big part of the story. However, they were not covered in depth. There were no offending parts. This poignant look at the struggles of the main characters is a book which was very hard to put down.

I recommend this book as one, if you like this genre, that will long remain in your mind.
