Joyce and Jim Lavene have written a story that is a virtual smorgasbord to a lover of Sci-Fi. The characters are full of energy and come in many colorful sizes and shapes. Amelia Gallant is an author who thrives on discovering the legends and myths of the universe. Her character may put you in mind of a futuristic Lara Croft. Just as she searches the globe for ancient artifacts, Amelia searches the universe for it's legends and stories. She stumbles onto a scheme to destroy the Alliance by a mad ruler called Jerritt by using an ancient weapon. Amelia meets Denali, a man she caught a glimpsed of, in a Hayyim ritual called the Triese lea. This story is constantly moving, with action on every page and with many unexpected twist and turns in the story. There is a romantic side to this story as Amelia discovers legends aren't all there is in life. There are stories inside of stories, all leading to one ending.
