| When Amelia finds herself near the river and Charon wanting a coin
to take her across, she realizes she must be dead. Amelia is
confused to find out that she doesn't have the proper burial coin,
and doesn't know what she is supposed to do about the fact she
doesn't have her coin. Charon lets it be known he is willing to
ferry her across for an exchange of favors. Amelia is confused and
turns him down the first couple times he asks. When Charon decides
to not take any more ferries across for a while Hermes has to come
and take over his job. Hermes also tells Amelia he will try to find
out how she has died and why she doesn't have the burial coin.
When Charon and Amelia finally get alone the sexual heat and attraction is awesome. When Hermes tells Amelia the truth she is shocked and when her family find her body she is given choices. When she looks at her choices she realizes she wants Charon, but will she be able to stay with him, will she want to when she finds out the whole truth? Amelia is a very romantic love story with the added spice of Greek mythology thrown in to the mix. This is a love story about one of the lesser-known and scarier gods. Charon has always been shrouded in horror as the god who ferries you after you have died, having him find his one true love is an exciting and very erotic story. I found myself hooked from the first and couldn't put it down till I knew the whole story. I recommend Amelia to anyone wanting a good romantic story.
