| Guilt and Self-loathing have brought Amira Grayson to the point of no return. She is desperate to break free from her self-imposed prison and discover if the object of her desire has feelings of the same kind for her.
She's hired Archangel Michael from the Pleasure Club to help her discover a peace and self-confidence she's not sure she ever even had. I think the author set herself an impossible task. Amira had so many issues, I had a hard time believing it all. One issue in particular I cannot go into detail without spoiling some of the plot, but overall found it hard to sympathize with Amira, which is probably why I wasn't able to enjoy the story. When Amira was referencing wanting to get her wings back was confusing. She's not an angel. She didn't lose her wings. Did she mean that she wanted to be a good girl again? Seeking sex with the Archangel Michael at the Pleasure Club ?in my oopinion- is not going to make you a good girl. Perhaps if the author hadn't set up so many issues with the heroine that needed to be healed/fixed in such a short time I would have found this more enjoyable.
