| Abby Angel is one of Angels, Inc. best demon control agents. It is her job to issue "citations" to demons that have crossed over the line of acceptable behavior with humans and to deport those who've earned their third strike. Abby has a little trouble with the rules herself and her biggest faux pas to date is allowing herself to be seduced by the half-demon/half-human Simeon Keller. Now there is a serious threat of a demon uprising and Abby must work with Simeon to stop it. Is Simeon her biggest threat or her best ally and can Abby stay out of his bed long enough to save the world?
I loved Abby Angel. She is a angel with decidedly "human" traits, mainly that she seems to be a little sarcastic, highly temptable, and does what she thinks is right instead of blindly following the rules. Simeon is walking, talking sin and Abby's ultimate test and she finds their chemistry next to impossible to resist. Simeon is an interesting character in his own right, he is not the evil demon you would expect and his human half may be his saving grace after all, time will tell. The demon behind the demon uprising is the true evil and Abby will have to figure out who he is and how to defeat him or the demons could successfully wipe out all the angels and thus doomed humans to a literal hell on earth. This story is for those with a decided twisted sense of humor, it is meant to be fun. This is not a religious story and the behavior of the angels and demons in this book doesn't fit what you might have been taught in any religious training. This is pure creativity and imagination with the purpose of entertaining. I enjoyed it very much and I hope Ms. Estrella has more stories like this planned!
