| Robert and Alexia are very much in love and very young. Alexia is
ready to settle down and start a live, but Robert needs to write and
have a career. Robert wants the same things as Allie but doesn't
know how to tell her that he needs to wait till he has established
himself with his writing. Allie loves Robert but wants to be part of
his life now, so asks for a commitment now, which pushes Robert to
far, and he walks out.
It's fifteen years later and Allie has been married to Tom and had two twin daughters and is now divorced. Robert is very well known author and is very well established. Allie still has dreams and regrets about letting Robert walk out of her life. Robert still regrets that he didn't let Allie know how he felt. When Robert ends up doing a author signing in the coffee house that Allie writes in, they run into each other for the first time in fifteen years. The sparks and heat are still there from the first moment they meet, and when they realize this they can't say no to the emotions that need to be expressed. But will they be able to find away together and be able to let go of the past to embrace the future. Ms. LaCroix has written another wonderful love story. This story is proof that there is always a proper time for love whenever it is found. This is a beautiful story of soulmates who should have been together finally finding each other and getting the chance to be happy together. The sexual heat is awesome between Robert and Allie, and you never think of cheesecake the same way again.
