Mercardo sets out to seduce Verity with her fantasies and make her fall in the love with him. But Verity isn’t so easily swayed and the last thing she plans on is falling in love with a playboy. The sensuous escapades jump right off the first page with nonstop, tantalizing thrills that just seem to get hotter and hotter with the turn of every page. What more does a woman want than a man to understand her every desire that she's too afraid to say out loud and have no qualms about seducing her with her own seductive words, thoughts, and desires. Wow! A true hot thrill that makes this book a wonder and a pleasure to read. I was ready to hate Mercardo from the start but the playboy quickly redeemed himself in my eyes. His character seems a little shallow but he is playboy and his love for Verity is a driving force in his eyes. I would have liked to have a little more background characterization on him so that the reader would be able to understand him more. Verity is a complex heroine with emotional issues that she has a hard time moving beyond but this spunky, independent, and determined woman is a force to be reckoned with. Mercardo and Verity work well together and their antics will have the reader laughing out loud with delight and gasping at their devil may care sexual tricks. The end of the story challenges both characters to reach within themselves and see the emotional issues and the love that shines through and the author is able to do this with the right amount of suspense, danger and quite a lot of soul searching for her characters.
