Sabrina and Marc both love Luke but they are also at odds. Sabrina is pregnant and with almost no money left. She calls her best friend for help but instead gets in touch with Marc. He doesn't bother to tell her that he isn't Luke until he shows up at the hotel. There is an immediate chemistry between them though they try to deny it's there at first because of the dislike that they feel and think the other one feels. It doesn't take long before the at least admit that they feel that attraction but they both refuse to give into it but they are stuck in a car together for now.

Sabrina and Marc are both well written characters. There are no inconsistencies in this story. The story flows and the characters fit. I really enjoyed the characters and the way they handled the situations. Of course, there are always times when the characters act a little stupidly, but it's understandable. The characters are compassionate to the point where it creates a block between them for a time. The dialogue was great throughout the story, no matter what was going on. Nothing detracted from the story and I was thoroughly pulled in. I did not want to put the book down once I started. I was drawn to the characters and the story. When the characters got together things became explosive. They were very hot and they had feelings the entire time even though at time they were trying to deny them. The sex was descriptive but not in a bad way. It only added to the story and showed more of the characters. I loved the fact that the characters also became friends and their relationship grew before the sex started. The bantering between them after they drew somewhat of a truce was great. I absolutely loved this story and would love to see more from this town and this author.
