I would have loved for this book to be longer to really probe into Becca's personality. The idea of compartmentalizing different areas of her life made me laugh out loud! We don't find out much about Samson except that he made partner and is a great lawyer. I didn't feel like I really knew him but you have to expect that when the book is written in first person. The plot is believable and unique to anything I've read before. The pacing moves right along, quickly going from Becca's thoughts and plans to the actual execution of said plans. The sex is hot and seductive but also with a sweetness to it that leaves the reader with a good feeling about the relationship and where it might be going. I love this author's voice and look forward to more stories by her, hopefully full length!
