A short and sexy story from Yvette Hines. The author is adept at developing the characters within a short story while making it believable. You won't be bored reading this book, it held my interest. The one aspect of this book that I really liked was the author did not go overboard with the race issue. It's disconcerting when a interracial themed light romance is turned into a civil war epic. This genre of romance is the author's niche and she does it well,lots of hot sex,not too much angst with a happy ending. A good addition to the Arrested Heart series.
