Beth is late in picking up her girls, Michelle and Melissa at the baby sitters. Again! This time it was not her fault, and just when the vampire leaped for her neck, along came a six-foot stranger to save her. But as she hastily tries to thank him and run for the babysitter's door, making excuses all the way, he insists on escorting her! Beth has no time to argue as she was late enough already.

Armen is running out of time! He delayed in choosing a mate too long. He can feel it in his soul, if he can not find a mate to his liking and print with her he will go insane before the New Year! It is the plight of his kind He is a warrior trained to hunt the vampire, his distant brothers from an ancient time. As he escorted Beth to the door he could not help touching her, and when he did she felt right. But he knew nothing about her and she did not know him. Surely he had time to woo her?

I loved this story and I sympathize with Beth's struggles to have a job and raise her daughters' alone when a mugger killed her husband for his watch and ten dollars. The babies never knew their father; his parents blamed her that he died, totally disowning her and their grandchildren. She was all alone, having been on only child.

Dare we hope for a sequel Brenna?

Armen And Dangerous is a good read, but those who want more vampires in the story can expect to be disappointed. Readers will detect a hint of Cinderella in the story, only with the heroine having twin girls, as her prince saves her from a beast. Ms Lyons weaves a spell on readers and you can not help yourself by cheering on Beth. I hope that I have the pleasure of reading a continuation to find out what happens to Beth and Armen.
