| Carson Jenings is an Alaskan wilderness guide and bear shape-shifter who will bring mythologist Ruby Adams to her missing sister. At first glimpse of Ruby's picture, Carson knows she's meant to be his. But can he convince her of that? She has no problem believing in his family's unique ability but she isn't sure she can believe in true love.
This is one hot Alaskan paranormal story. It is no secret that I love curvy-gal heroines and Ruby is a fantastic leading lady. I love that her size was not an issue and her self-doubts were similar to any woman no matter her shape or weight. I felt a deep connection with Carson and was fascinated by his special shifter genes. I admit to falling a little in love with him myself. I enjoyed the fact that the mate-bond goes a long way to making a quick, believable attachment. I'm still chuckling over the fact that she wants pop tarts when she has a gorgeous man to cook for her. I cannot wait to read the next in this series as I'd love to learn all about Carson's hottie brothers. This author has definitely made her way to the top of my must-read list.
