Megan had one goal in mind—to purchase the last painting her grandfather had completed. A Delano Roberts signature in the lower right corner assured her it was the accomplishment of the last promise she had made to her father. A confirmed “ex” best friend of Megan's, Debbie Grimes, ran the bidding up almost out of Megan's reach. Just when she was sure the painting was going home with her, a voice from her past bid $1,000 more than she had in her savings. Her life flashed before her face!

Michael Kirk had broken her heart and left her in their small hometown years ago. He left under suspicious circumstances -- a set of murals painted by her grandfather disappeared and he was blamed. Michael left, went to law school and never returned. She had thought he loved her. Unfortunately, he loved something else more. Had he experienced a change of heart? She had to buy that painting from him. The problem was he refused to sale.

Ms. Robin Blayne did was she does best. She has given us a poignant story about a couple who neither ever loved another. She has woven her plot throughout the years this main couple were apart and how their initial reintroduction to each other was less than satisfactory for either. She has extensively created a couple her readers are destined to love. The secondary characters played incredible roles in this book. It is the book to read in one afternoon/evening.

This fast-paced book was definitely a page turner. The power of God in the lives of His children was woven throughout this manuscript. The underlying love between the crossed high-school couple was hard to put down. There were so many surprises in this book it is impossible to tell much of the story without giving the ending away. Suffice it to say you will be thrilled you read this book.

I recommend you read this book as soon as possible. This is not my first Robin Blayne book and it won't be my last.
