Cain knows from the moment he sees the portrait on one of his nightly walks that he must have it and the woman in it. He makes a plan to find out who she is and bring her into his life. After meeting her in person he knows that his nightly dreams must be made a reality, for Katie is just as sensual in real life as his fantasies. This book is very emotional and full of twists and turns to make you think. Katie is afraid to step out and take a chance on her own. Cain doesn't want to trust anyone for fear they will turn away from him if he reveals the extent of his physical damage. They are both what the other needs to heal the emotional wounds and find a love that will last for all time. The question is, are they strong enough to trust each other and move away from the past? This book is a wonderful read and will please readers of all genres.
