Assassin is another fun installment in the Middlemarch Cats series. It was so great to see another Mitchell brother taken down by a slip of a woman. Assassin is a wonderfully written story full of dedication and perseverance. Despite the multitude of assassins running around in this story, there is still a softer side to it. There are quite a few power play scenes throughout the story that will keep you on your toes. The first love scene is not only very sensual, but it is hilarious too. It will have your side splitting from laughing so hard at Leo and Isabella’s crazy antics to gain/keep the upper hand. Both Leo and Isabella’s lust for the other is out of control and they are barely able to keep from losing their control. Despite the fights for control, Leo and Isabella’s relationship is remarkable. Their love scenes are out of this world hot. Interesting characters and an unusual plot will lure you into this imaginative tale and will keep you engrossed ‘til the end. If you enjoy a book full of dominate sexy shifters that is full of action in and out of the bedroom, you will not be disappointed with Assassin.
