| The S & M club Xecutive Branch is attracting a lot of attention lately. The locals suspect that they are using underage girls, the DEA is investigating a drug ring, and the FBI suspects that the high clearance government officials who belong are spilling secrets to the employees. Dalton Cutter’s partner Jason was undercover in the club and ended up pumped full of drugs and dead in the Potomac, he is determined to avenge the death. Domino Petracelli, a DEA agent on her way up the agency ladder is assigned undercover in investigate drug trafficking and the Metro cop’s death. As Mistress Bella, she will have access to all areas of the club. Dalton in the course of his investigation becomes Bella’s first customer and in spite of his distaste for her methods sparks fly between them. Each has a job to do however, and things can get pretty dangerous in an S & M club.
Ms. James has written a great book full of action, suspense and really erotic love scenes. The characters are very vivid, each and every one, so that the reader will have no problems picturing them or the settings, which are equally vivid. Dalton’s reactions to his visits to the club are very realistic and his developing romance with Domino is really well done. Their co-workers, both in and out of the club only add to the plot. It is easy to like Suzi and hate Meyers. The author has created lots of ups and downs in the plot and it never gets boring. I recommend this one to all fans of romantic suspense.
