Dan is the editor of the newspaper that has written the story about Jamie, he knows the reporter who is on the case also has ties with white supremacists and wants to make sure that he is writing the story from the correct point of view. After meeting Jamie he believes her innocence and sets out to help her prove it, along the way he gives in to his intense attraction for her and they start something neither one can control. However danger is all around them and someone doesn't want the truth coming out, can he help Jamie prove her innocence before it's too late? This story is awesome and the plot kept me reading until I was done. Jamie is a kick ass cop who knows what she is up against and has no problem dealing with it. Dan is out for truth and justice no matter what color the person is and he has a major thing for Jamie. There is much focus on the racial differences and a lot of references are made. However this builds the plot and adds to the storyline. The sex is very hot and intense and will totally have you looking for ice. I highly recommend this book if you love great stories that involve lots of action and drama.
