| "It’s done, they’re safely back on our own planet now," Ariel thought to herself. Now all she had to do was find Coridan. Ariel couldn’t leave him behind. She noticed how quite it was. She automatically thought to link with her people, but she couldn’t. They were on the home planet Zaron now, she was alone. Then it hit her, she realized what it must be like for Coridan. A telepath left alone with no one to link to was the same as a death sentence. How could he stay sane? The loneliness had to be worse than death. Ariel had to find Coridan and take him home. She had a vision and saw Coridan and herself joined as mates. This couldn’t be possible, she is the seer and a seer can’t take a mate. To do so would take away her powers. There must be a mistake.
Coridan was miles away. He didn’t know where he was and didn’t care. He was alone and he deserved it after what he’d almost done to Ares. Ares had been his mentor and he had repaid Ares by almost killing him and trying to take Ares’ mate. Coridan had felt the shift in energy, he knew they were gone. He’d never see another Alantean again, or so he though. He had no idea Ariel had stayed behind to find him or that Pro. Donald Rumsinger was about to get his hands on her. Pro. Donald Rumsinger is a very evil man, a parasite on mankind, and now he’d found the lost tribe. Rumsinger’s plan is to take all the wealth that the lost tribe are alleged to have and a male specimen to run experiments on. He knows they have powers and he plans to exploit them all. Rumsinger didn’t want Ariel, he wanted a male, but she would be the perfect bait. Where there is one, there would be more to his way of thinking. Back on Zaron, Rachel and Jaci are giving Ares and Eros hell because they want to go back and get Ariel. Its been a month in Zaron time, they don’t know that only a few days have past in earth time. Their afraid Rumsinger will get his hands on Ariel. Much has changed on Zaron in the two hundred thousand years they’d been on earth. Now, there are several different races living together. Eros and Ares have sent Orion, Ares’ half brother, back to earth. He is to go to New York and get Bridget, a friend of Queen Rachel and Jaci, then look for Ariel. Orion notices the ship’s over weight but knows not what it is. Out of the corner of his eye he sees a shadowy something. There wasn’t time to find out what exactly, he’d just have to check it out on earth. Coridan senses something. It can’t be! Everyone has left. There it is again and its on his personal path wave, the one used only by ones true mate. This can’t be! He’s alone but there it is again and its Ariel. He must get to her, he could feel pain, blinding pain. What’s happening to her? Coridan is confused but he does a 180 degree turn and heads back to the village. Only a true mate could reach him in this way and someone was hurting her. Was Ariel his mate and can he get to her in time? Jordan Summers has done it again in this, the third book of the Alantean’s Quest series. Ms. Summers continues her story with Ariel and Coridan. Ariel the untouchable and Coridan the banished will find a love where none should be found. Their passion and desire for each other is what great love stories are made of. You will feel all the heat and the fear as Coridan and Ariel fight their enemy and the forbidden desires for each other. I have read all three books and I haven’t been disappointed yet.
