Since it is customary to call them by their last name, Hogan respects Sun and follows the tradition. Sun has an important job as being Guardian for the Agrippa. It was Sun’s bloodline that the Agrippa attached himself to watch over and protect the book, a dangerous book with vile evil inside. Sun lives in loneliness, always haunted by Agrippa’s voice. When Hogan enters his life, the loneliness melts within Sun. He is taken with Hogan’s blond curls. His desire for Hogan is strong but as the Guardian for the Agrippa, his duty is to keep himself pure and protect the world from vile evil. Sun battles, with his conscience, whether to give in to his temptation with the strong urge for Hogan, while tying not to fail the Agrippa.
Deadly Sins: Avarice is a page-turner from the beginning. There are some tender moments of romance between Hogan and Sun that enlighten the reader and allows one to feel their passion and desire. The conflict that Sun experiences with Agrippa, while trying to keep his desire for Hogan at bay, keeps the reader entertained. Ms. George seasons the storyline with charm and elements of romance that keeps the story moving along consistently. She blends a plot that explores so much between the two men and leaves a bit of intrigue wondering just where Sun will permit his heart to settle.
