As President of the SBC, Drew Black is a force to be reckoned with. He has brought the SBC into the limelight with his acute business sense. The owners of the SBC admire Drew's accomplishments but they don't appreciate his rough and coarse personality. They hire Gillian, a publicist, to guide Drew into cultivating a more polished and polite personality. Gillian and Drew are attracted to each other and Drew uses that to his advantage. SBC fighter Brett Bullman is a dedicated upcoming championship material fighter when he meets Audrey Porter. Audrey is the leader of WAVS - Women Against Violent Sports - and her focus is on the SBC. Brett is immediately attracted to Audrey and doesn't tell her what he does for a living. It isn't long before Gillian and Drew are fighting a larger battle than his crude language, and Audrey's WAVS are right in the middle of the fight.

Wow, where do I start this review? As usual, Lori Foster has created honorable and loyal heroes for her capable and feminine heroines. The characters are all people who the reader can relate to since they have the same flaws and hang-ups that most of us are familiar with. Drew and Brett, as well as all the fighters we have read about, share the characteristics of loyalty, honesty, respect, and empathy towards others that doesn't detract from their masculinity. It enhances it. You can't help but fall in love with them. The double romance is written seamlessly into the plot and the relationships parallel each other beautifully. From the opening paragraph to the last page, my attention never wavered and I couldn't wait to turn the page and find out what would happen next. You really want to make sure you have time to savor the delicious feelings this book will inspire. It's certainly one for the keeper shelf, to be pulled out when you are craving a captivating and heartwarming romance. Whether it's Drew's foul mouth being toned down by his feelings for Gillian, or Brett's quiet and steadfast fight for what he believes in, you won't be disappointed with this book. From the steamy sensuality of Drew and Gillian to the sweet wooing between Brett and Audrey, Back in Black is not to be missed!
