Detective Brady Randall went undercover five years ago to bring down the biggest drug dealers in the city. He believes through Isabella they found out who he was and tried to kill him. The one mistake he made during his mission was falling in love with the drug lord's daughter. Now he was back to bring the drug cartel down and get revenge on Isabella. Soon he finds out that the woman he thought betrayed him didn't and even worse he's still in love with her. Isabella lives a life of fear. Brady has lived the last five years blaming the woman he loves for a betrayal she didn't commit. When he finds out he is very eager to try and make amends. From that moment on the book becomes more about the couple and less about the drug case. This book kept me interested and the plot is very exciting. Cops, drug lords, a couple who fights to be together are just some of the great aspects in this story.
