When Nora Haston is given the opportunity to do an article on one of the most sought after men, Christopher Warren, she leaves the rat race and her high-pressure job, to settle in a small town with her daughter. This is one interview that she seeks desperately. Unfortunately before the meeting gets started, things take a turn when Christopher suddenly marries. Nora never expected this to happen especially with her growing attraction for Christopher. Now there is a murder with Christopher as the suspect. Can Nora help him or convict him?

Christopher Warren is part owner of a large investment group. He refuses interviews for newspapers or magazines, preferring to stay a loner. When he meets Nora he is instantly thrown to her. He would love to have a relationship with her, but ends up marrying another woman. He has to get to the bottom of an embezzlement ring, before he can go on with his life and if getting hitched to this woman will help him discover the truth, he owes it to the company. When his new wife turns up dead and he a suspect, will he be convicted or will the real killer be found so he can spend his life with the real woman he loves, Nora?

This is a book that hooked me from the start. The plot was thick and kept you spinning until the last page. I liked the way Ms. Ranieri developed the characters. I almost felt as if I was a part of the story. I fell in love with Nora, her daughter and Christopher. Sheer entertainment that has you turning every page until you find the answers. Christopher and Nora were two characters that ignited the pages.

Ms. Ranieri has written a book that will having you guessing until the last page. I recommend this book to anyone who loves suspense with a twist. Ms. Ranieri’s formula for writing a great thriller really shines through in this book. An entertaining book that does not disappoint.
